Learn More

The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, has fought since 1920 to improve our systems of government and impact public policies. We engage in advocacy, education, litigation, and organizing to protect every American's freedom to vote. The League is proud to be women led and over 100 years old, emerging directly out of the women's suffrage movement in 1920. For more information about our history, click LWV History

A grassroots organization, the League’s enduring vitality and resonance comes from its unique decentralized structure that works at the local, state, and national levels. LWV Grafton-Shrewbury Area is committed to opening the doors of government to all of our citizens.
